Bridge
Duplicate Bridge players unite on Tuesday and Thursday nights for fun and competition.
REASONS TO PLAY BRIDGE
Bridge is not only good for your brain but also is a great way to meet people. You don't need to be a genius to become good at the game. Try duplicate bridge - in which you and a partner earn points for outsmarting other teams playing the same cards (hence, “duplicate”). Bridge is a mental activity and is associated with a reduced risk of Alzheimer's disease.
The game itself is a great deal of fun! Playing bridge provides you with something challenging to think about instead of worrying about terrorism, the ecology, yourself, etc. You can play for years and years and go from level to level, learn more and more, and find the challenge of becoming a good player inexhaustible. Most bridge players stick with this game because to paraphrase Rogers and Hart,
“Once you have found it, you never let it go.”
Please join us for duplicate bridge Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7:30 PM And/or for Intermediate Lessons Monday from 9:30 – 11:30 AM Or Beginner/Novice Lessons Mondays from 1:00 – 3:00 PM.
