Ocean City Yacht Club sanctions several offshore races each year during the summer months. The racers are divided into cruising and spinnaker classes based on registration.
We encourage captains with limited experience to try offshore racing. Distance races are the first ones. In an open sea, skippers and their crew will sail out to a march and back to the start.
